MaryCarol Fowler, President of the Amesbury Sports Park, has announced that the park is under new ownership as of this month.
Former owner Ted Dipple recently entered into a sale agreement with longtime employees, MaryCarol Fowler, Kevin Jacques, Candace MacLean and Meredith Robinson.
The sports park is known here and in the region as a place to pursue a variety of recreational activities, and as an event venue. Among its offerings are winter and summer tubing and annual events such as the Brewfest, and the Spartan Race
The Amesbury Sports Park is also available for birthday, anniversary, holiday and other parties, wedding receptions, and corporate events. The function room can accommodate up to 100 seated guests. The entire facility is for rent for private events and offers outdoor catering for over 10,000 guests.
The monthly wine dinners at Amesbury Sports Park have a devoted clientel. The dinners occur on the first Friday of each month, and reservations are required no later than Tuesday of that week.
